Remove unwanted hair permanently and gently with the SEQUENTIUM hair removal system. SEQUENTIUM is an advanced form of electrolysis that uses variable modulated currents for a more comfortable and permanent treatment.

Statistics have shown that the majority of men and women have some facial or body hair which detracts from their natural beauty. Since 1875, when Dr. Charles E. Michel first discovered and perfected the process of electrolysis, major advances have been made. Through the use of highly sophisticated technology and the professional skill of a licensed electrologist, electrolysis remains the only method of hair removal approved by the Department of Health and Human Services of the Food and Drug Administration as both safe and permanent.
Hair growth is often the result of normal biological changes which females undergo throughout life. As a women advances through puberty, menstruation, pregnancy and menopause, she may experience fluctuations in hormonal levels which cause increased hair growth in an area that has never before been effected. Excessive hair may also be due to such diverse causes as heredity, certain medications and stress. It is commonly associated with malfunctions of the endocrine system such as irregular menstrual cycles, ovarian cyst, or over active thyroid glands.
Permanent hair removal is accomplished by directing a measured amount of energy into the natural opening of the hair follicle by means of an ultra fine instrument, until the base of the hair root (technically known as the papilla) is reached. The procedure causes granual cellular destruction enabling the electrologist to remove the treated hair without resistance.

Electrolysis is the only permanent hair removal method recognized by the medical community.

ELECTROLYSIS: A DEDUCTIBLE MEDICAL EXPENSE

The IRS has ruled that all payments to electrologists qualify as tax  deductible medical expenses. This ruling clarifies the 1982 decision which stated that "electrolysis performed by a state licensed technician is deductible as a medical expense."
Electrolysis is the only method of hair removal accepted by
the American Medical Association as permanent and acknowledged by the IRS as a medical deduction.
